Gifted & Talented Screening Notification

Parent Referrals Now Open for Grades 3–5

We are now accepting parent referrals for Gifted and Talented (GT) using the CogAT (Cognitive Abilities Test). Parents of 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th graders if you would like your student to be tested for GT screening, please click the link below and complete the form by September 11, 2026. HCS will test the entire 2nd grade; therefore, 2nd grade referrals are not necessary.  2^nd graders will also take the Iowa test. However, all other grade levels require a CogAT referral.
